Influenced gear set recipe feels outdated

I remembered from ages ago there was a influenced-variant of the rare gear set vendor recipe, but the wiki showed it still yielding exalted shards despite the recipe existing from before the switch to divines.
So I thought I'd check via some apparition shrine farming, and I finally managed to put together a full set of unidentified rares of the same influence type. It is definitely still yielding exalted shards (4 for unidentified set).
I recognize this recipe probably got left behind courtesy of conquerors being moved to effectively side-content, but I for one would appreciate being able to pursue this as an avenue for making some modest currency.

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere before, trying to search for this topic went all sorts of places quite fast

Honestly, with how much loot rains from the sky these days, especially influenced items from shrine farming, recipes like this don’t really serve much purpose anymore. They made sense back when items and currency were actually rare and vendor recipes were a legit way to build up resources.

But now? If this was updated to give divine shards instead of exalted shards, it’d just lead to stupid amounts of currency generation with minimal effort.

At this point, it probably makes more sense for GGG to just remove these outdated recipes entirely.
