Just killed Jamanra with lvl 33 Lich Summoner...

...And I must say it was pretty easy fight. Took me about five minutes and one attempt. I even used fire minions (arsonists + srs). So I really don't understand players' complain about his difficulty. Cunt Geonor gave me much harder times.

minions got buffed, the complaints were from unbuffed players I believe
I killed him before the nerf without minions as an ED Contagion Lich. Hes not difficult.

I see all these asks in chat looking for carries (on all boss fights) and it blows my mind. Just now I see one looking for help with lachlan lol. If youre having trouble with these fights, your build isnt good, your gear isnt good. back to the drawing board.

Im not a great POE player but Im not asking for help when my character can no longer progress in mapping and I dont get to a pinnacle boss because of it.

Jamara thing is.. it is not the same type of boss as most other bosses. Most bosses are skill checks where their big danger are instant kills that you need to dodge.

Jamara is a RGIND boss where it takes long ans it has a lot of things on the field trying to deal you damage (so you will NOT avoid all). So it becomes a dispute of your DPS/life leech vs his health pool. Imho is a bad design because it deviated from the game formula without any warning.
There is a difficulty spike in terms of monster, especially boss, HP at the dreadnaught. Jamanra's health pool is insanely high and if you don't luck out on gear it can be very harsh. I was playing a normal perfect strike titan and didn't get a damage boost due to the inventory node and he was absolutely ridiculously tanky, and so was the start of act 3. But after I got a jewelers orb my damage became ok again and now the difficulty feels just fine if not almost easy through act 3 and act 1 cruel.

The issue with loot in the game isn't the scarcity, it's that the crafting bench allowed for more stable gear progression and the runes are not a replacement for it. Runes increase the potential maximum damage of your weapon drops but if its bad in the first place a rune can't fix it, while the crafting bench did nothing for the max potential of a weapon but just allowed for guaranteed okay damage mods.

Because of this some players will have gear that isn't quite up to it yet and I think the lower end of the gear spectrum is probably too weak in general, while a decent t2 damage roll will carry hard.

I killed Jamanra as Lich even without minions :D and before the changes were applied.

Yep, I know about buff, but I didn't think it will be that brutal.
I killed him at lv 3 with a bent stick.
