Trial of sekamas bug ( normal )

Hello,
i have abug regarding Act two trial of sekamas on normal difficulty, we killed Balbala and she dropped the coin but i didnt pick it up and we continue on finishing act two but the trial of sekamas didnt update for me, waypoint didnt show on map and i couldnt go there, and on my quest pending one which is ascend to power ( speak to zarka ) but when i go speak to her nothing happens.

hope someone help me soon with feedback, appreciate it.

I also had this issue, it was resolved by reloading the map and fighting the Balbala boss again - well 2 more times before it recotgnised it and allowed the quest to progress.

thanks for sharing ,yea i tried to kill Balbala again 3 times and no luck quest didn't update, still stuck on it, i went to act three and did temple of chaos and got only 1 ascendancy from temple of chaos but trial of sekamas still bugged.

i tried on cruel difficulty act two killed Balbala and dropped one coin and i took it but quest still bugged doesn't update and i can't access trial of sekamas from map at all,and i cant do ascendancy.
if anyone have similar issue please report so GGG would fix this issue and avoid it from happening again.

In my case, I dropped the coin and picked it back up, and the waypoint wouldn't show. I then dropped the coin and left it behind in hopes that it would reset the quest, but now Balbala doesn't drop the coin again.

There is a bigger thread with this same issue, but seeing how this thread is more clear about the issue, I'm choosing to bump this thread.

I had the same issue on two characters and cannot access trial of shemas on map or via caravan. Quest never displayed correctly and only got the quest item but can use it to access trial on xbox series x

thank you sage for your support, yes seems afew people have this common issue either drop coin because they willn't need it as they will do sekamas trial later or in group team one gets it and others doesn't and sometimes the quest gets bugged and you cant have access to waypoint or click to faster travel.
hope that GGG team will look this asap and make hotfix for it, so this issue wouldn't happen again.

I ran into the same problem today. I picked up the quest item, but did not get the quest. The trial area does not appear on the map either. I tried dropping the quest item and fighting Balbala again, but now she won't drop the quest item, and I still don't have the quest.
