Used EA key for standalone - Steam asks me to buy but my account is linked

Basically title. I got a steam deck and can't play the game on my steam deck because it asks me to buy it again, POE1 works absolutely fine so I don't why it's not working. I logged into my friends steam to download the game and when I switch back to my account it just says 'Purchase'. If I log into his account with steam deck there's no option to log out in the path of exile 2 application so it's just stuck on his account.

In the early access account options there is a steam key which purchases PoE2 on steam.

If you used that on your friends account, then you purchased it on steam on their account. It does say this "should not be given away"

You might get somewhere with a support ticket if that's the case?

I didn't give my friend my key, I used my key on my own account. He also has POE 2 so I used his account to download POE2 just so its on my steam deck and I was hoping to be able to open the game then go to Username and Password and log in to my own account.

I can't seem to edit my post, yeah I didn't see there was a seperate steam key in the EA. Thank you mate!
