Health cannot regenerate

I'm playing Lich, and for some reason, my health is stuck at 400/1200 and cannot be filled up by life flasks or well (out of combat). I have the Eternal Life node on my Ascen, but I think it's a bug, right?

Eternal Life - Your Life cannot change while you have Energy Shield

This is kind of stupid. Eternal Life should be able to be topped up by wells, I'm stuck at 45 life and need to respec to fix it each time.

People use the ascendancy to intentionally lower their life so they can use the 'When on low-life' mods. So they want their life low and to remain low. That's why the ascendancy is worded that way.
