Attributes & Skill Tree (Why did this move to PoE1 forum? Should be PoE2)
Attributes on the tree feel kind of bad to invest in, but half of the nodes are attributes. Strength feels okay at the start since it does give some life, but later it feels just like "I have to take this to fulfill stat requirements". Is this intended to feel like this? Or are you maybe going to iterate over one of these:
1) the stat/node distribution on the tree 2) stats the attributes give (maybe add like 10 dex -> 1% skill speed, 10 str -> 5% hit damage, 10 int -> 8% inc DoT) 3) reducing attribute requirements of gear/skills 4) buffing how much you get from attribute nodes When we get more base stats from attributes, they would feel much better for non-attribute stacking builds. Or just reduce the requirement of attributes for them. I hope there will be some changes to the tree anyways, I often feel like some nodes are not quite what I need, and there are none that Id like to have for my build near me. Like there are a lot of "Accuracy in close range" when I just want Accuracy. There could be more stuff with presence. Maybe some reduced crit for more damage/acc/speed for non-crit builds. Also you said the tree should be multiplicative, but for accuracy it doesnt feel like this. I mean the inc nodes are, but I feel like I get more flat accuracy (from dex, the str/int gives accuracy, feels hard to even get to 100% inc accuracy when not using like 20 attribute nodes to get to the accuracy. honest when MOST nodes are waste/attr its rly annoy
passive skill tree could be much better if half attr was removed (mean that instead to waste 4+ points to get needed passive skills it would needed 1-2 wasted point to get same skill) and started point become 1 for all classes Mercenaries master craft service Mercenaries My IGN TreeOfDead
