Minions are not party members. Conduit applies to party members. If a party member has conduit, you're their party member, and will get charges from them. Your minions are not, and will not.

I think he meant why is it that way. what is the thinking that led to the decision to exclude minions from gaining shared charges? i know that's what i want to know.
The reason minions don't count as party member is because they fundamentally are not members of the party.

The reason Conduit affects party members specifically, rather than something like "allies", is that it is explicitly intended to he the party keystone, that provides no bonus to you, only to your party members. That's pretty much the entire point of Conduit.

Ok, that's how it is now.

Is there any discussion where we can request that it be "allies" instead? Especially given it's location in the skilltree (like, RIGHT next to aura range, Give-Shield-to-Minions, the self-buff-increaser, and a couple batches of Summon nodes), it seems like it was specifically there for Summoners.

At the VERY least, the text on the node should be changed to "does not include minions" ;p
#1 rule of official forum boards of every video game ever: use the forums to relay info, gather suggestions, or the rare narrow-focused Poll; but NEVER as "feedback".

#2 rule: Never say the #1 rule in an official capacity. Let some guy on the forums say it, leaving yourself plausible deniability.

i think you commented on this earlyer in closed beta (i even think i made the topic lol) and you said that this whould also be kinda overpowered. because 9 zombies with frenzy/power charges whould be way too strong
I'm more than happy for minions not to be party members.

The downside is my summoner's pets wouldn't gain from conduit.
The much bigger upside is they don't get hit by map mods like Suffering or XXX Curse.

(of course, they stand still in burning ground until they pop, but they are braindead...).

I understand this is a role playing game, but I don't think the best role to play should be shopkeeper. - AlteraxPoe
thanks for clearing that up guys.

i knew it was too good to be true. giving minions frenzy + power charges would be way too overpowered
