The Loot Floor Is Too Low

"

I have had maybe the same amount of currency. Probably less alchs think only 2 have dropped.

You have to check the vendors every level up. I check them, uncluding the 2 camps in actIII (infested barrens/jungle ruins) 10 levels overcap they stop having more than 3 items.

The act 1 to 2 mace took awhile for me as well. It was probably 3/4 way through act 2 I finally got that.

I did try to gamble like once but got nothing from it and didnt do it again. Will gamble endgame usually.

Ok I got zero alchs, and all my currency was spent getting accessories since none dropped and they are ridiculously expensive gold wise in the campaign and buying socketed gear to break down for shards. I and most of the people here do check vendors as often as possible, that doesn't mean they will ever have anything good it is just like ground loot. Being lucky and using that as a basis to disregard feedback doesn't make you skilled or mean others are playing wrong, it just makes you seem like you lack the ability or capacity to understand situations you haven't experienced.

I mean if you want to say that I am just lucky and have done that now, 3 seperate times.

And I have only shown you 1 gear slot.

There is not a single playthrough, across the now 6 toons I have played, where I NEVER got an upgrade by checking the vendor.

And absolutely noone I know has ever progressed the entire campaign on A1 gear.

So I think we need to have a more realistic conversation rather than using hyperbole before I will engage with over peoples perspectives.

All you are doing is doubling down on exactly what I said and leaning into egocentrism. You do not have the ability to understand things outside of your own personal experiences, it's truly wild. Do you think Ziz was lying in the interview when he brought it up too?

Yea again we need to have a serious sit down with these people who are using a1 gear throughout their entire campaign playthrough.

Id like to see their setups.

I actually provided proof to my claims with gear and yet to see anything from anyone else claiming their problems. So I just am confidently skeptical, next to knowing what the answer already is.

Id love to see screens of peoples gear and where they are at to really see what the issue is. If you want to step forward on that one be my guest.

For those not having gearing problems I think that's great for you. You're doing something right.

For me though, as someone that picks up every blue (or better), quality, or socketed item finding ground loot hasn't been much of a thing since A1.

As for crafting I was perpetually out of "blue" crafting orbs as well as ALCs in the first couple of acts. The vendors hated me for the most part. Nothing with high %Phys, high %Ele damage for attacks, etc.

Vendors pretty much hated me too. My routine is to search for "items" [rarity stat] ; Movement speed on boots ; and browse though anything that I could wear/equip to see if it was worthwhile.

In the end would up going to trade for 4/9 items I'm currently wearing.

The highest tier mod on my found/crafted items is T4. I was able to trade for items with useful T7 mods.

Even if buying from vendors constantly works and gets explained to the community - we still have the problem of currency. Not to mention how long it takes to get through the campaign, and constantly teleporting back to base to sell items just to get gold is so annoying and monotonous. I end up spending lots of my gold trying to respec my passive skill tree. Loot needs to be buffed big time!!! I will preach until the end of the madness!!!
Why are you spending so much on respec?

Imgur link showing my gear on this character at Utzaal, my 3 exalted orb drops so far went to that bow, the plaguefinger gloves and a quiver I just got. I think my belt is the only recent drop I have which is just a quest reward, and it is awful too. That bow is now like 28 levels under me too but still better than anything at the vendors or drops. I pick up every rare that drops and disenchant them, that's how I upgraded my accessories since I don't think I've had any regal drops (possibly 1, but I don't remember.) I'm actually still clearing stuff fine, poisonburst arrow is strong despite only having one support gem that does anything for it before the latter half of campaign, but I can't really get hit by any boss abilities or it's lights out. Stopping playing just because it isn't fun getting nothing and feeling like I am on Ruthless, which I also played a lot of in PoE1 and didn't come to love

I feel for you mate. Loot is a struggle big time

I don't want to add busy work by selling constantly just to get some gold and check in with the vendors constantly to MAYBE find something more valuable than what I have. It's all busy work that literally doesn't add ANYTHING to the game. All we need is more uniques/currencies to work with and we're in a WAYYY better place than we are now. May RNGesus have mercy on our souls....

Hood:
You could transmute and aug something better just by chance alone from the ground in A3. A higher base type on it would be a massive improvement. Double res that low (combined 20%) is doing nothing for you.
Rest of its stats are nothing at that level.

same with the boots those arent useful at that level.
res/life/eva > 15% ms

You dont even need to worry about ms in the campaign/early/mid game.

I dont see a picture of your bow so I cant really say what to do with it. I also dont know what skill you are using or how youre built.

But if its following the same pattern as the two pictures you put up, yea I probably have better bows just in my own stash (cant trade though ssf)
