Is FubGuns "Lightning Spear" build getting nerfed?

Mate, that's not a fact. They are not purposely playing builds that will get nerfed. They are playing the strongest build that they can think of together with the community. Like pretty much, literally everyone else. If you are playing a shit build you have a shit time. The point for most people is to have a good time.

This build may be ok for maps but is bad for bosses.

When I first tried out huntress the lightning spear in early levels felt relatively weak. Later when I tried it again with the vault gem it felt really really strong. Then I added the amazon ascendencie's hit chance into crit conversion and it started to trivialize the cruel campaign: I could basically just throw a lightning spear now and then to kill all non rare mobs. If something survived I could consume the shock effects to with another skill to cause multiple mini explosions to clear the rest. Frenzy charges weren't even needed.
I have the impression the vault gem is too strong if coupled with this skill. Maybe the amazon hit chance into crit chance ascendency is too good as well - it feels really strong, but I haven't done the calculations.
And for bosses one has lots of empty skill slots left to fill with anti-single target skills.

So I think it should be nerfed, better sooner than later. It's early access and its good if we can try out their balancing adjustments.

Yeah I'm wondering if I should switch to it. Downside however is the grind will become trivialised and boring just like the attribute stacker / spark builds. Lets see, there's a Q/A soon and I hope this does get addressed.

fubgun does not break the game. he's not a build maker. he just chooses the best build he sees as relatively safe, MAYBE makes an adjustment or two that really doesn't matter (kitoko's does not make it "his" build, it's just a variant)

he's just really good at navigating the meta, especially pertaining to making currency fast. he switches to gemling stat stacker, and then tempoarlis autobomber, AFTER it's been played for a while by others. nobody likes wasting divines on a build that gets gutted.

you could say he's good at identifying the strongest builds that WONT get nerfed. so rest assured.

nothing about the current lightning spear builds are unintended. u think they never tested the combo you are playing now? it's not that clever. they may lower it by 10-20%, or adjust other skills to balance playrate, that's it.

the real losers are those who overpay in divines for low tier uniques like radiant grief's, death's harps, kitoko's and are strung along like mindless sheep to fubgun's soothing voice and end up paying dearly for being late to the party.

I obviously wanted to play the infamous javazon on league start.
It was so so bad though, barely progressed thru campaign and gave up on a2 cruel.

On day 2 or was it 3, they buffed every spear skill and now it feels 10 times better I'm mapping and everything. I am playing SSF btw.

Also ever since diablo 2 days, javazon has been broken with OP gear.
That's the point. To be OP with OP gear, no? Fubgoon is probably one of the richest players in this game so I don't know what you're saying OP.
