I just watched the interview (podcast) with Zizaran, and I am shocked.

They does not accept any arguments, does not accept any criticism and answers complex questions with absurdities.

I am shocked how this person gets to a position like this.

1- The "Patch Notes," which are usually released at least 4 days before the league so everyone can study them, were released less than 24 hours before launch in 0.2. This prevented the community from creating builds and noticing the upcoming balance issues.




2- 2 - The 100 new passive gems announced in the trailer did not make it into the game.




3- The 100 new unique items announced in the trailer didn’t make it into the game.




4- Nerf to all classes and buff to all monsters' HP, minions are unplayable.




5 - Infinite crashes and RAM memory leak.




6 - The Ascendancy of Warrior, Kitava's Blacksmith, simply couldn’t be selected.
You were doing the challenge for nothing. Very fun :D




7- Was the item drop rate reduced again? Why?




8- The maps are huge, slow, maze-like, and boring.



9- A new 'infinite money' bug — it happened back in version 0.1, and now again. It took three days to fix, while people were streaming with the bug. Those items have already passed through countless hands, and the claim that they’ll track and remove them is about as real as fairies and leprechauns.



10 - There's no longer any freedom of choice when it comes to classes/items/skills. You either use what they want you to use, the way they want you to use it, or you won't deal any damage at all.



I just can’t understand how, after 12 years of PoE1 and 95% of the community despising Ruthless,
the brilliant new idea was to completely turn PoE2 into Ruthless.

If the goal was to create a totally different Souls-like game, wouldn’t it have been better to make a new IP with a new name?

If it’s supposed to be a Souls-like, should the mobs really move the way they do? Attack the way they attack?
Should body blocking be the way it is?

It’s really sad to see this happening—and even sadder to see fanboys coming up with any excuse to justify the absurd changes we’ve been getting.

The company’s credibility is drifting further away from what it once was.

I can appreciate a well-thought-out post. The only thing on the list I honestly would not mind (and do not mind) are big Maps, or at least some big Maps here and there (half-and-half between medium/big sized Maps).

If clear speed were not so bad, getting through bigger Maps would not be that bad. And I am not talking Maps the size of Deshar; that would be considered a 'huge' Map not a big Map (big difference).

Not sure what is well-thought out about it. He is just regurgitating common complaints/ memes, phrasing them disingenuously, and omitting what GGG has already done to make them better in a short period with quick responses.

If it was a well-thought out post, it would have some substance and actually paint the picture of both the playerbase and GGG in this period. Instead it is just inflammatory nonsense birthed from degeneracy.
