Loot Drops need some work

soon i can apply for a job at a recycling company because im expert in junk
they did fix the strongboxes tho got to give em that
strongboxes used to be absolutely useless in 0.1 now its good drops but everything else is nerfed beyond ruthless
when you cant find a better item for your last 30 levelups when you play the campain, it is doable ok but its not fun

just run a t2 waystone.. 2 exalted,
some other peanut currency, 2 tablets and 1 rare item.
there was a Time where it was 100% chance for a rare mob
to drop at least 1 rare item .. not 1 rare item for the hole map.

sometimes 2 but than its mostly a map with rarity of item found mod on.
making the game more grinding is ok.. but that is ridiculous.. remind me hard on Poe 1 Ruthless drops.

i got on one map a 200% wisp powered monster. it dropped 1 rare 1 ex and some magic items.

You got lucky. My payout in about 15 maps today was one ex, one regal and one vaal orb. Also ZERO items worth using or selling and I still use some stuff from early acts.
If this is intended I may be gone soon.

I'm pretty convinced they nerfed drops, especially orbs. I also see a lot of feedback about it.

Pre-0.2 was in a such good spot in terms of loot, as far as the campaign goes. Have yet to struggle through it it in 0.2 to see how the mapping goes.
Before the 0.2 I would still have to decide which gear to use my regals or exalts on, so I couldn't just spam them mindlessly, but I was able to actually self-craft my gear, get spare gold to sometimes gamble for gear slots I had the biggest struggle with, vendors would give some interesting half-baked gear I'd try to improve with my currencies that I actually had.

Now? Basically Ruthless from PoE1.

Nothing drops. An exalt or two per act, wowie. Maybe a regal from 30 rares and uniques. Act bosses drop nothing worth picking up. Rare items also barely drop at all, so I get less regal shards on top of less of the orbs.

This is a disaster.

What, you don't enjoy all this meaningful loot you pull out of maps?
