In Elden Ring, Everyone Skips By The Monsters, GGG

Back in August of last year, Jonathan's initial thoughts on POE2's flask system would be: "Flasks don't generate charges, players go back to a Well in town to refill them." This was to slow the game down.

But they abandoned this idea, because it was insane. Nobody wants a 15+ second "break" every 10 monster packs. I think GGG is trying to slow POE2 down such that it fits Elden Ring's pacing, but the critical thing about Elden Ring they misunderstand is, once players know a level's layout and its traps, they just skip monsters to get to the boss, because it's too much of a slog otherwise.

POE2 cannot have a forced pacing like Elden Ring, because it doesn't even "work" in that game.

So just give us a little movement speed, please. And reward people for not skipping content - make rares drop items!
