What the hell is incision and why is it antisynergystic with itself?

Seriously, Incision is a debuff that stacks on enemies increasing bleed chance and consuming itself when it procs a bleed. Great awesome, oh wait there are a bunch of nodes which either increase the effectiveness of incision (meaning each stack grants more chance) and a bunch of nodes which scale the magnitude of bleed based on the amount of incision on the enemy. This is ass. All of these other scalers of incision are terrible, you get HUGE variance in their effectiveness based on how lucky/unlucky you are with your bleeding of enemies. You can proc a bleed off a 10% chance on your 2nd hit, or you can proc it on your 11th hit with 100% chance, the magnitude of these bleeds will vary WILDLY. That's also if it's your only source of bleed chance, assume you have one of the few other bleed nodes which requires/includes bleed chance to get to, well you just made your incision based bleeds even worse. This mechanic is just completely at odds with itself, and SO much of the bleed in the huntress area of the tree revolves around it. This is ridiculous, did ANYONE who knows how to play a game like this look at this for even a second and think about what these nodes actually do?

It was clear in the total tavern podcast interview that you don't think ailments should be something to build around, but I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, this is just utterly ridiculous though.
