I understand nerfing early-mid game, but if a player invests so much into a build, it should be rewarding and capable of doing all the content. They had perfect balance by the end of 0.1 IMO, all they had to do is nerf the top OP stuf that one shots max difficulty pinacles, make grinding a bit harder. Instead they nuked everyone and everything. like 0.1 didnt even happen. |

I think they need to give access to some tradeoffs/risks to allow minions to be stronger, but avoid it being an idle build, where you just stand around to wait and win.
A basic buff to damage, while warranted, would be sad. I'm more looking forward to how they might develop minion builds. Maybe there could be melee builds that benefit from being/dealing dmg near the minions. Maybe they will give you more abilities to interact with them. Maybe we'll get better micromanagement, or minion AI. Maybe abilities involving sacrificing health/ES for buffs, etc. There's loads of features GGG could implement, and i think massive tweaks/decreases to damage should at least come with ways to build or play our way out of it. They should rename it from minion to pet, so that people can have cute pets following them around :D
