Drops disappearing after a few seconds on the ground.

I'm desperate, my drops are disappearing on the ground a few seconds after they fall.

When I pick them up, but I have a full inventory, they also disappear.

HELP!!!

Complementing:
I disabled and removed my item filter.

I noticed it for the first time on the Keth map act 1, and it persists until the Jamanra map where I am now.

I uninstalled and installed the game again. Problem solved.

The solution for this common problem really needs to be stickied, particularly since the game now defaults highlighting to off for new characters, regardless of your existing setting (which it then overrides for all characters, arguably making it a bug and not a design decision).


There are keybinds / button binds for setting the following options:

Always Highlight items and interactables -- Under Interface - Gameplay

Highlight Items and Objects (temporarily) -- Under Input, defaulted to (ALT)

Toggle Highlighting -- Under Input, defaulted to (Z) and LT + Dpad RIGHT on controller; defaulted to OFF on new characters.
