The developers hate us.
" Friend, I already mentioned earlier that I bought multiple copies of the game. I'm writing this from my Steam account because it was easier for me to log in here and send a message. If you’re having doubts, I can log into the game and show you all of my characters right in front of you. But tell me — what exactly am I lying about? So many people are complaining. I’ve never written anything like this before. But now I’m frustrated, and I want the developers to hear us and make this game enjoyable again. People like you, to my great disappointment, are creating the perfect environment for the developers to think everything is fine — that they can keep ignoring the feedback, the reviews, the streamers, everything. Because there will always be someone like you who tries to derail the conversation. But let’s stay on topic — look at the state of the game. I believe that deep down, every person has a bit of common sense. Can it really be that all these people, who have played and loved this game for the past 4 months, suddenly decided to hate it for no reason? I bought this game in December. I haven’t been playing it for 10 years like you have.

The saddest part about these posts is that i actually genuinely think you believe this is the truth.
Which streamers are deleting their characters? Why would ggg purposely create a game to make people quit? I know logic doesn't come easy to some people, but at least try. |

The developers have heard us. Thank you, GGG.
I hope they bring damage back into the game, along with the freedom to choose the builds we actually want to play. Right now, there’s only one real option — the warrior. I don’t want to be forced to play a warrior just to reliably clear story campaign content. Like many others leaving feedback, we want to play the way we used to — with high damage and freedom of choice. In update 0.1.0, the story campaign was challenging, but it wasn’t boring. Now, it’s boring, tedious, and difficult. And if you’re unlucky like me, it becomes impossible. I’m stuck in a regular zone with no boss, no support gems, no currency, nothing at all — not even enough gold to respec and try something else. I’m not going to ask for help, because this update just isn’t playable. It’s impossible to enjoy. And this is just the story campaign. It should not be this hard in Act 2. Let me say again — in the last update, I created over 8 characters and leveled them all to 90. The devs made a great game. But with this update, something clearly went wrong. Please fix it quickly. I just want to enjoy playing again.
Whoops wrong reply well you know what I mean. no reason for them to make entertainment so shitty, not our fault we don't have souls.

It seems like the game designers haven't played their game past Act 1. At least show a presentation of your updates on T15 maps once.
Complete disappointment with the new league and the new character class. @Bratik

I would say the devs were a little heavy-handed on the player-nerf : monster-buff relationship. I think the patch was huge and bound to have problems. They are doing their best to address the concerns without losing their vision for the game. I feel like people can respect that while still having constructive feedback.
Starting out with the huntress was not great, but teaming up with some friends on launch definitely helped smooth some things out and now I'm in early maps and actually really enjoying the class and the new challenges in maps. Don't get me wrong, this was not a perfect patch and a far-from-perfect league start for anyone. Perfectly fair for players to be disinterested in the changes. At the end of the day it's their game and your decision to play it or not. Council of Ancients Staff

" I don’t want to argue — I came here today to express my gratitude for GGG’s quick response in addressing our concerns. No one is denying that it’s their game. But we bought this game back in December, when characters actually had damage, when it was fun to play, and everything was designed for enjoyment. For three months, the game held a 300,000 player count — now it’s a different story. Characters have no damage anymore, while white mobs in the campaign deal tons of damage and have way too much health. I’m stuck, and many other players are stuck just like me — unable to progress through the story. This is not the same game anymore — and that’s what people are unhappy about. No one is against updates. We want this update — it brings a lot of interesting content, but we can’t enjoy it. Because clearly there was a mistake: they removed player damage, and at the same time gave white mobs too much health and damage. This is no longer the same game. I want to play it, and thankfully they’ve already promised to fix things. I’m simply here to say thank you to GGG for reacting quickly. They’ve done well, and I hope they restore the fun that was taken away on April 4th — and do it soon. |
