Smith of Kitava Ascendancy Skills Issues

I've been experimenting with some of the skills available after first ascendancy with Smith of Kitava and have been finding inconsistencies and glaring gaps in skills and UI.

I've exclusively been using Spear for my build, so I don't know if Maces lack some of these problems.

Temper Weapon has different behavior with multi-hitting attacks depending on whether there is one empowered charge, or multiple. I did not use any support gems in this testing.

At one charge a multi-hitting melee skill like Rapid Assault or Spearfield will trigger a combust on every hit generated by the attack.
At two or more empowered charges it seems to only trigger a single combust, regardless of the number of hits the attack creates or number of targets hit by a single attack e.g. Rake.

This significant difference in behavior I experienced put me off from continuing with Temper Weapon for the time being, so next I tried out Manifest Weapon.

The Manifest Spear seems to function at the basic level: it exists, it auto attacks, it seems to inherit support gems properly e.g. Martial Tempo. Its special Lunge attack does not seem to do damage or enemy collision. It travels in a straight line, repositioning seemingly arbitrarily, usually after 3 auto attacks. Because it does no damage, it's actually quite useless I'm afraid; time spent dashing and recovering is lost auto attack DPS.

The Skills panel details for Manifest Weapon are completely missing. The basic attack tab and all the valid martial weapon tabs are empty. It has an Always Attack Without Moving toggle, though I don't know when that could ever be relevant. Support Gems do not make a "ding" sound effect when being slotted into this skill.

I'll be poking around with the Smith of Kitava ascendancy nodes for a while yet and may return here to add more notes. Love the flavor! Hope the ascendancy can get a few more quality passes soon.

From what I can tell, Temper Weapon also does literally zero damage (not an exaggeration, but actually zero), as well as the aforementioned other issues with the inconsistent empowerment.
