The TLDR of how GGG gould fix the problems in Huntress and other gameplay.

Play your own product.

Yep, that's it. Play it for real, no console commands giving you items, no dev mode. Play the prroduct. I would bet right now if everyone at GGG played huntress with a focus on frenzy charges they would never have put this out. The ADHD can stop right here.

Still here? Why do I say this silly thing? Well ....

I used to work for Electronic Arts and less than 10% of their software engineers played any game, much less their own product. A total of 3 people in Bioware played their own games. I talked to them all and kept track. Of the executive staff only 1 in 100 played computer games AT ALL. I was astonished at these numbers but talking to others in the industry, its typical of large game makers. TenCent is a large game maker. GGG is just a subsidiary now. 100% owned.

The whole dev staff should be told, "Get on the server this Monday and Tuesday and make a char with huntress and give your feedback. Whoever gets highest level by Monday wins some cool prize. You are not allowed to copy each other's builds." If they did this there is NO WAY the players would have said Huntress with such a focus on parry and frenzy is good.

What I would do? Hmm tough. First:
1. All Stabbing actions send the spear much further and pierces all targets for the length of the shaft (upgradable with skills and supports).
2. Parry is now a passive skill. There is ho reason to hold a button to parry. The char automatically parries the enemies if they have a buckler equipped and the chance to parry based on the shield stats. Bucklers no longer block. If an enemy is parried it will glow giving possibility for disengage and other skills.

parry and frenzy are the ONLY good moves huntress has, everything else does almost zero damage.

And the parry/frenzy moves only do SOME damage.

They really need to bring back Chris Wilson.

Standing in front of a boss, or in a pack, waiting for a parry is a recipe for death. A boss may do an unparryable move. The pack will do 3000 parryable moves in 10 sec and hard stun you. This isn't Elden ring. In Elden ring, which I love, you are against a couple of baddies max at the same time or a boss you can iframe dodge. In this game the boss has those baddies around him. I was dying to whites more than anything else. Took 5 hours to beat Lachlann and 26 deaths because I was playing the recommended method of parrying, frenzy, attack. Then I signed on A brand new witch, ran Unearth and Contagion and cleared Lachlann in 2:10 with zero deaths.

In 3 weeks the dominating builds will be the same as they were before 0.2.0. The mobs still come at you in mass, they still do lots of damage close up, melee classes have no way to mitigate this or crowd control it. They die.

He left. He was smart and got out. Got paid too I am sure. Now we are dealing with TenCent.
There's no problem in huntress but with your mindset. Just learn the game and how to utilize synergies. Clearly with auto-parry you are not the target audience.

Your opinion appears to be in a REALLY small miniority.

Mathil has worked one out so its just a matter of time until the guide gamers come in and learn to play the new class.

Parry seems actually great.

It might occur to you that many of the customers dont want to play someone elses ONLY viable build to the huntress. We want to use other skills and many play SSF and think buying a build is gross. (That would be me). They would rather figure things out on their own. Not wait for some youtuber to figure out the only possible viable build and then obey his instructions.

Then again ... I am guessing none of that occurred to you. Oh well.
The parry and half melee/range playstyle would have been good as ascendency. I just want to play a Javazon with only range play. To be honest I dont know if thats possible, if not then that sucks.
