Didn't click with the Huntress, but the Warrior's changes are HUGE !

Hey so like a lot of people I felt like playing the old javazon from D2 again but after an hour or so I was tired of the combo gameplay of the spear. While the damage is great once you've set up everything you need to, I simply didn't like to think about the whole rotation while also managing my positionning and react to the monsters.

So my plan B was to go for a Smith of Kitava and from the get go the warrior is really in a much better place :

- rolling slam feels way better now

- the lower mana cost make's it way easier to spam stuff

- the shield bash is a great idea, it's simple and fills up the stun bar pretty fast

I'm only at the end of act 1 but it's a much much smoother experience than in december with the warrior.
I can't wait to try out the new ascendancy, well done GGG !

Nobody likes comboing in an ARPG... if they do, they are like 2% of the playerbase. Thats why poe 2 is gonna fail with this ideology in the long run.

Hate to break it to you, but Smith of Kitava is bugged and doesn't even show up in the window when you finish the trial.
I played combo-point toons in WoW for years, off and on. Doing that on PoE2 didn't look appealing to me. Too much button bloat and skill mechanics became sweaty, not challenging. Many used macros and addons to cope, and still it went further. I like it here and think GGG get it right - and fix what isn't quickly.

I recently leveled a practice Warrior and didn't see what all the criticism was about. When the patch finishes loading that's what I'll explore with first. GGG did a good job of pre-warning everyone that things would get tougher.

Good times.
