Opening the site where you see that your account is linked to twitch fixed it for me too (literally instantly showed up in-game).

SOLUTION:
"I logged into PoE2 and did not see the pet. A minute later after going to https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/twitch to verify the drop, the deer appeared in-game. on xbox with an account linked to pc" |

so they have hidden the rewards in
https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/connections when you click the view reward it will show up ingame lol problem is barely anyone knows about this or even use forums |

Usually i dont have to do this in order for the game to realize my drops... but this time this helped.. it was immediately available ingame after checking on the website |
