Infernalist Ascendancy changes were some of the few moments these patch notes made me excited.
Except for the the Hell Hound change.
The build enabling node causing all damage to contribute to ignite, and not requiring Infernal Flame to use is huge. Love this. Going to maybe try Plasma Burst ignite (possibly crit) build now that it doesn't require a very clunky interaction. As far as Hell Hound goes, this was always one of the super boring nodes, but it was useful. Now it's just boring. This should be one of those multi-choice nodes, giving the option for maybe 3 to 4 different powerful minions that each have interesting mechanics that enable some sort of playstyle. Depending on how much flat damage demonflame is doing, it looks like they fixed demonform too.

" I think switching the second node to an uncapping node instead of a capping node was a good change. It might be a nerf to super juiced end game builds since they won't be saving an ascendancy choice once they no longer need it capped. The crit damage bonus upside to igniting yourself gets a huge buff, and you cool off your infernal flame faster. Now just want to see all the gem stats, new and old. |

Infernal Flame with this update seems like it might actually be usable even. If you think about it in mana terms, regen of your entire mana pool over 2 seconds (4 seconds total) is kinda nuts
