I hate the way that POE2 ruined everything about ailment damage

Path of Exile 1 spent years refining ailment damage interactions. For some dumb reason, Path of Exile 2 has thrown all of that away and made ailment damage scale off of hit damage again.

It's garbage and I don't want to play this way.
It's worth noting that +2 maps are a dangerous thing.
They can cause players to get out of their depth -
playing maps that are too hard for the items they currently have. Herp Derp.

+1, the changes to ailments along with the changes to damage calculations overall I feel has made the game worse/boring compared to the depth of POE 1's system. Honestly it feels like the only real improvement over POE 1 is visuals.
A lot of choices make me think that the devs weren’t allowed to actually play PoE or use any information learned from it. It’s like they had one person explain some PoE mechanics to someone, then that person tried to explain it again to the people working on the game.

I think the main purpose was to "simplify" things.
Kinda weird if you ask me. They alienated big chunk the new people with Sanctum/Trials, now they will alienate rest of with this patch so at the end I don't know for who this game is for.
