Tying the energy shield bypass mechanic to the Lich only is bad

The Lich ignores the downside of bypassing Energy Shield (ES).
How? Eternal Life: Your Life cannot change while you have Energy Shield Soulless Form: 10% of Damage taken bypasses Energy Shield with minimum downside:

No inherent Mana Regeneration
Regenerate Mana equal to 6% of maximum Life per second Chaos Inoculation sets maximum life to 1 but gives you chaos damage immunity (instead of chaos damage taken being 50% with maximum resistance capped at 75% and chaos damage doing double damage to energy shield). Inherent Mana Regeneration without investment is about 1/5 of total mana recovery since mana flasks are far more effective. Atziri's Disdain: (20-25)% of Damage taken bypasses Energy Shield Why is that bad? This ties the ES bypass mechanic to just one Ascendancy effectively.

(Or makes the Lich far tankier than any other Ascendancy without any real drawback like the Infernalist that has to micro-manage the Hound to be effective.

Does anyone thinks they will leave Atziri's Disdain as is?

they absolutely should leave it as is.
Since Lich is mostly a minion build, you are already sacrificing +3 minion from your helmet (+1 from corruption and +2 native). Thats literally 65k less DPS per minion on my build. Thats an insane drawback in itself. |

" I dont think it's mostly a minion class. The 2 nodes that apply to minions say "you and your allies". Almost every build benefits from stuff like unholy might the same amount.
