PoE 2 Login Issue (Unable to play for 13 days)

When logging in from console (Xbox) 50% of the time I get a notification that the server is down for maintenance. If I keep spamming A eventually I get to the character pick screen. However, here's where I get stuck.

When I choose my character or "Create New Character" there's a loading circle that moves around the A button prompt and I can't click it. It loads eternally.

I've tried re-downloading the game, resetting my MAC address, etc. I've posted on Reddit and others have mentioned they were having the issue but still haven't found a solve. Nothing seems to work.

I paid $30 to play the game ONCE. I'm really frustrated. Has anyone found a fix for this?
