Please free me from third party applications!

As said in title, please free me from third party applications required to make trading/price checking at least a bit less cumbersome.

I don't mind having to continue trading with other players in person but please make the tools we're already using available in-game.

Seriously though, the game by default highlights the item being sold. What more do you need?

I think hes talking about the need to use something like awakened poe trade to check the price of your items and having to go to the trade site outside the game to search for items. While i agree with maybe having an interface for the trade site in game i think implementing the price checker would be needless work for the devs cause there are already great tools, same reason they probably wont do a massive overhaul of an ingame filter because neversink does such a great job with it.

If that's the case, then I doubt you'll see anything. GGG already announced there will be an AH. It's possible they only meant the currency exchange, and I'm not going hunting for when/where that was said.

In a perfect world all these 3rd party apps would be built into the game.

Trading would be much simpler with a built in price checker.

Builds and gear choices would be much simpler with a built in POB setting. Just open your passive tree and click a "testing" button then you can make all kinds of changes and see how it effects your character.

The loot you see and its value would be easier if you could use an in-game menu to tell the game what you want to see and assign "flair" to the item tooltips according to your personal needs.

I had hoped they would do something like this, bring in the people that create these 3rd party apps and give them temp jobs incorporating them into the game.

Alas, it won't happen.

Q: Is there any plans for an end game Auction House?

Jonathan: I wouldn't say there's a plan for an end game auction house exactly. But, there are changes to trading that I am keen to make. I don't have anything to announce at this point. That is definitely something I want to look into doing more of during this early access period. So there will be something we definitely want to test there.
