NEW FRACTURING ORBS HAVE NO SENSE

With new fracturing orb. Sure u can hold a option but for what ? u cant reroll the item or ensure any mod at all. Do i fracture a item trow a essence on it? no i cant cuz essences r for white item also when the mod is not the one i want i will lose the fractured item and mod cuz i cant get it back to magic to keep rolling. Fracturing orbs r not going to be usefull since there r no ways to roll a item from the base. is spending a really expensive currency to gamble the rest options. Lets imagine u fracture the mod u want. T1 Phys dmg. How u ensure the rest of the item? u have to augment yolo cuz no item for crafting work to add 1 magic option and since there is no alterations u cant roll the item as magic for the 2nd mod. Also the 3rd mod is a gamble of 1 time with a essence since there is no way to get back to magic and start over.
