Dustbloom makes people crash

I've found a strange bug, that when I equip the legendary Chest Piece Dustbloom on my Ranger, I make my friend's game crash. We've tested this a few times and it has 100% crash rate for my friend. I can have it in my inventory, and nothing happens, but as soon as I equip it, or drops it on the ground, he crashes. Funny thing is, HE was the one who found that item and put it in the Guild Chest a few days earlier without an issue.
