"Cast on--" Buff for Totems

Seeing how Minions have "Cast on Minion Death", why can't Totems have a "Cast on--" Buff?

Totems are already a struggle to level and limited in upgrading to late game.
Maybe something like "Cast on Totem hits" or "Cast on Totem Death" to add more variety or synergy. Or maybe even "Cast on Totem cast" but given its based-on Energy maybe its lower maximum & procs every 4th, 5th or 8th Totem cast?

Totems are already one of the most Mana hungry skills so I feel they need more modifiable upgrades or buffs.
