I'm asking the community who play Chronomancers and Stormweavers to get behind this post.
There is literally not downside, all it does is add more build diversity / allows Frostbolt to be used in endgame. |

2 simple fixes.
Make the fork and chain support gems prevent piercing. And/or Make ice wall count as terrain. |
