Count Geonor fight is dogsh*t
I enjoyed 95% of the fight against Geonerd, first phase is deceptive, second is harder, and the third ramps up nicely keeping you on your feet. Nice theme, cool arena location, and It was funny watching him get girlbossed gatekept and gaslit by clapped shyt but the fight got abysmally uninteresting in the wolf pack's final phase, where I started getting passed around like a 12 year old at Fogle's birthday party.
The dogs were slamming me into the invisible walls and clipping into themselves so hard I was practically teleporting around the arena while my dodges kept throwing me in a completely random direction. In the end I only beat the boss by biding my time and waiting for RNJesus to give me a lucky teleport so I didnt get surrounded and bugged out by the deathball of 15 dogs clipping in and out of existence at warp speed. And I thought minion block was annoying.. Also, is there any particular reason we decide to leave a god tier weapon on the ground after we kill him? I guess this (literally) legendary sword handed down to the strongest of the strongest for generations just isnt worth the space in my backpack. I dont know what kind of utterly deranged lunatic would leave something like that behind but I felt severely disheartened and unimmersed by this p*ss poor writing. You hyped the sword up with all that exposition and dialogue just to deny the player their prize when its literally lying at their feet. The weapon should be your first Unique. But given that GGG hasn't added swords yet (And I doubt we'll see them for months).

" Yeah, it should probably crumble like a Morgul Blade but not just be left on the ground as if it was a piece of trash. Or you get reduced to 1HP when you touch it as a warning... something. Bird lover of Wraeclast

The wolves during the fog time are barely an issue, as you can just run circles around the edge of the fog. Avoids what they're doing, for the most part, while also avoiding the Count.

He is indeed a strong boss to new player. you have to update your equipment to kill him.
Here comes the wisdom of GGG: you have to "buy market stash tab" to trade better equipment. |
