Chronomancer has 0 time control

Just want to point out that the Chronomancer doesn't feel time related at all. I'll keep the powebalance out of this silly rant.

Time Freeze is just a glorified aoe stun. Is hard to feel like I have actually stopped time when all the mechanics like tornado, blood waves, corpse explosions, fire mortars, etc. keep going like nothing. Also, evasive monsters seems to dodge the skill and keep moving around sometimes. You could perfectly re-label the skill as a warrior warcry that stun mobs around and it will be fine.

Time Snap is more "timeish", but at the end of the day is just a free Second Wind, which everyone can use. The chains that may proc with Now and Again are cool I guess, but having low CD does not give me the time-control vibes at all when 90% of the skills in the game have no cooldown.

In general the interaction of the ascendancy with time related stuff is lackuster. Apex of the Moment is the only thing really on flavor, but gets over shadow by Temporal Chains + Aura effect bonus. So, if you really want to slow stuff there is no point in playing Chronomancer. Even the small passive node Slow Effect gets overthrown by Encumbrance, I guess at least is better than the 4/5% nodes available in the common tree. Other than that you have the Buff/Debuff Expire Slower/Faster nodes that are on flavor, but since their impact is translated to a +/- few second I never get the "I'm glad I have these passive nodes" moments.

Another time related mechanic that is not being use by the Chronomancer is Increased/Reduce Skill Effect Duration. Zero mention of these in the ascendancy, so the Chronomancer is no better than any other class to theory craft about them. Seems like a missing opportunity, as everyone is bounded to specialize in one direction or the other. I can imagine the Chronomancer having a skill that toggle the direction of the effect duration so it could play skills that benefit from increase effect duration together with skills that benefit from its reduction.

At the end of the day the Chronomancer is just an aoe stun with faster cooldowns. We could just name it Adrenalinemancer give it an aoe stun and call it a day.

I love the Time Freeze spell but I do agree, it should really, freeze time.
I often see lots of projectiles, waves etc going off, within the AoE of the spell.
I think/hope these are just bugs, hopefully they'll be fixed.
Slow aura is a sole reason to take this ascendancy. It's so good, especially combined with temp chains aura and hinder.
