I didn't have regular minions on my sorc, just the Raging Spirits with Infernal Legion so they'd die in 5 seconds. It was my counterpoint to fire being completely useless. You see fire is only 99% useless, not 100% useless. With two Solar Orbs at the same time, the skulls spawn, die, and get replaced pretty consistently. It will be probably nerfed too because they give a lot of energy for a Solar Orb, which is otherwise a pretty useless spell (has niche use with Hammer of the Gods bleed).

After spending so much time and effort building this, you destroyed my build... frost sorcerer was my favorite and now it just isn't worth playing anymore after 2 crazy nerfs...

I will now have to rethink my entire build and go to Lightning build or simply just stop playing... a waste of time and money!!

From where you got that idea? Season 1 is almost 1 year in future.

still have to think of a way to do better damage on bosses but listen, max range spell echo frost bomb is insane for clearing maps

They made clear statements last patch that they do not want to break character builds with patches before season 1. That's their words exactly. Call the change a bug fix or nerf, either way it killed the ice sorceress from being a competitive build. Clearing times with temporaris are now over 6 minutes from 3-4 minutes. And frankly just isnt fun to play now. The Frost bomb strategy can't keep up with temporarlis so that won't work for me but i appreciate the advice. I guess I got too niche and paid the price. They even acknowledged breaking builds in the last patch.

Yeah, they made it clear that it wasn't until the next major patch(0.2.0) with accompanying economy reset would they be nerfing skills.

That said, I think they viewed this as a bug fix.

In D2 I played Barb or Cold Sorc. I started with warrior here and gave up halfway through the campaign on day 3. Played cold sorc. As I was finishing cruel they nerfed cast on freeze. At that point I vowed not to play either until game release, but these are my preferred arpg builds.

Definitely feel your pain :(.
