Auction House when?

Perhaps it would be useful/good PR for GGG to post something in this thread or forum as opposed to hiding the news in a POE1 Q/A session which I doubt attracts many POE2 players :)

THAT WOULD BE AWSOME. ALL WE EXPECT IS TO SEE PLAN. GIVE IT AT EA. EVEN ON LAST 0.9 PATCH. DOESNT MATTER. BUT GGG, PLEASE STATE IT NICELY AND CLEAR

GGG We all know how you feel about an AH....

But realise this is needed.

It won't change to the challenge of the game or people's interaction. On the contrary everybody will be less frustrated. Trading a very old fashion way is irritating. I almost feel like I'm sending a fax ( young players won't get it)to the player and wait his / her response.

You can design an old fashion, goth / old style interface AH for all I care as long as it works smoothly
This game is a write-off and not a choice to play on console. GGG want our money, but don't want to provide basic functionality based on some outdated idea from the 1990's.

Incredible own-goal.
Console loot filter for POE2 Please!

1. AH would kill the BOTS
2. less bots = less active players in the count
3. less active players, TENCENT is angry, shareholders angry.
4. "AH would make picking up items useless since you could just buy whatever you wanted": NOPE. People would still be picking up items to use/sell/"craft". They would just clear their stashes faster and that would minimize Stash purchases (literally the only reason I paid in this game is Stash)

AH would make GGG lose money, lose shareholders, anger Tencent and make this game great.

“AH would kill bots”
Not really. Bots don’t just trade; they farm and sell currency/items. An AH could actually make botting easier, since selling becomes faster.

“Less bots = less active players = Tencent angry”
Fake activity ≠ real success. Shareholders care about revenue and sustainability, not inflated numbers.

“AH makes picking up loot useless”
Complete opposite. It would actually increase item pickup. People would loot more just to list and sell. AH encourages broader use of loot filters to pick up sellable items, not just upgrades.

“AH kills stash sales = GGG loses money”
False. Players who trade a lot will still need tons of stash space, maybe even more to list/manage items faster. GGG can easily tie premium AH functionality to premium stash tabs if they want. AH wouldn't kill revenue — it’d shift how monetization works.

AH kills bots or not doesnt that matter but improves trade, and doesn’t hurt monetization if done right. The only ones scared of AH are scammers and flippers (but still flippers can do well).

And AH would make it even easier for bots to operate. lol.
