Because POE2 offers something POE1 does not have: good engaging combat. Yes, it ends by the endgame, unfortunately, but it is there in the campaign. I leveled 6 chars through campaign because of that. Very good experience. POE1-like endgame: no sorry, don't want that.
ok i agree the campaign is good but thats not enough reason to prefer poe2. end game is just like in poe,1 click builds. 90%+ are heralds or spark on some temporalis build thats even faster than a HH build in poe1.
You instantly walk back on your initial claim in your very first post. You are clearly not asking as serious question here, you're just looking to argue. It's very clear you have not put a lot of thought in to this, you're just looking to something to argue and be mad about. |

I went back and played PoE1 again after 400 hours of PoE2 and had to quit. The combat isn't even remotely the same, and I don't see myself ever going back to it again. PoE2 will only get better from here on out. Just be patient.

The form of mobility feels far superior, the light simplification of the Gem system feels great, and removes a huge pain in changing gear that PoE1 has. The support limitation forces some creative interactions. And I prefer the flask / charm system PoE2 presents. And while it needs work in details, I prefer the Atlas in PoE2, that they are maps, not abstractions of places.

You just described precisely why PoE2 is better. Less power and speed is better.

I only read a few comments and made my reply to his question in this post too, now I've read everything and I think you are on point. He doesn't actually care about any argument (subjective or objective).
The best he comes up with when "arguing" is "you don't played much PoE1" or smth.
Doesn't it speak volumes when some ppl here weren't hooked by PoE1 but by PoE2 now?

LOL I knew OP would use profiles as (bad) arguments, I'm not gonna get into that low IQ trap even tho I played PoE1 a lot.
I enjoyed my time in PoE1 since 2013 but now I moved on to PoE2, deal with it.
