DEATH LOG before GTA 6

Hi GGG !!!

Just the title please, yeah yeah it's an old meme.
So it is not a race and you have plenty of time because I do not assume that
GTA VI will release in this century but it would be much appreciated if we would have a death log.
=))

I've already browsed your forums a bit and there are threads about it from 10 years ago or more, so u basically know it but just refuse it.
Not understandable at all.
NOW with the NEW GAME POE 2 that wants to make things BETTER than POE1 would be the perfect time to implement it.
GGG you DO WANT TO IMPROVE POE2 ??? AM I right ???

Would a death log simplify the game so much ???

OPTIONAL: Below is just an "funny" anecdote what reminded me again about it

I wished for DEATH LOG since PoE1 and just forgot or maybe just trust more experienced players to talk about it. Until today !!!
My story about this is, that I was watching some famous streamers
talking about the current state of PoE 2 EA !!!
The one was ranting about it and the other one was trying to explain it and show some counterpoints.
Anyway constrcutive criticism is important and you know it.
People get emotional just because they care about the games state.
Point is, one of the streames said as a joke or meme or just an explanation that developing a game takes time. He said in a funny way this, I quote:

"...Bro they're like a 100 Boomers in NZ, just trying to get a bank, you know, a map affinity tab in the game right now ..."

which was a joke or a meme. Don't get offended please. I'm kinda old myself !!!
However few minutes after I trash talk in chat, I die to some random shit.
Which reminded me, that a death log would be helping out with learning.

Max res./ 75% block / yeah I have armour, I know I know and maybe I was distracted by this joke but I died to some random Andy-mob in map.
Not even a boss.

THE ONLY "logical" explanation that this game doesn't have a death log is,
that one of those 100 boomers in NZ have red my joke in global chat and just killed me for fun =))))) NO evidence there !!! (just a joke btw.)

Which I could somehow understand at some point, that some Devs do this because of reasons.
But if it's NOT the case, than I clearly do not understand why you can not show us the last 2 or however how many seconds of DMG recieved before death.

GGG already explained why death log would be worthless, move on. You can make your own log by recording your game.

Could you please link me the info where an official GGG statement is posted please.

And LOL record my own game so I rewatch and replay and see nothing again XD

Now imagine every casual player has to record his gameplay just to rewatch it and try to understand what happend.
Yeah and than cry because game is not beginner friendly and ppl quit.
IF this was the official answer, than it is really unprofessional and they shouldn't wonder when ppl quit again =)
I think GGG should move on and RETHINK their 2013 decisions.

Stating facts is not dumb =))
Sticking to old decisions made and never changing them is dumb.

If I want to play a game WITHOUT DEATH LOG and bunch of one shot mechanics than I will go and play PoE1.
We are in EA of the second part, IF i ask about a Death Log to improve the game
and GGGs answer is still the old one: "go record your game" than it is more than unprofessional and therefore they do not care about their product nor their costumers.

No joke. Some fancy death animation also including REAL death stats.
Put a price tag on it, if this is the issue.

That's because the Chinese death log is bad, not because death logs themselves are bad. The Chinese death log only shows you the last point of damage that killed you, which is mostly pointless in a game like PoE where deaths are usually caused by multiple consecutive sources of damage.

By the way, the reason why Chris said he doesn't want to add daeth logs to the non-Chinese client is because it requires too much computing power.
