We need more improvements faster

We are in beta stage, beta should be changing and improving all the time, balance changes, resets and other changes. We are now 2 months in and nothing has really changed. Sure some small things but the rate should be faster.

Beta should be finding the balance and make changes constantly. Just reset/create new league and go. Now builds are unbalanced and some are outright broken.

And yes it is called early access but it is pure beta.

Please release even small improvements and changes constantly. With this rate the game will be in beta for next 2 years. I have about 700 hrs in the game now and the end game is just boring running trying to find rares in way too big maps (skipping creek because 1 rare always spawns outside the map and cannot be killed.), too little bosses even with the precursors.

The campaing is awesome but there is no reason to run it over and over again.

Please make lots of new EA "leagues" as resets when improvements and changes are ready. Just push them out.

Now I am just waiting for PoE1 league.

I'm really hopping for a new annoucement this week, this friday will be the end of jannuary and 3 weeks since the last patch release, this a EA and the game shouldn't take more than 1 month for updates.

Totally agree. The update rate should be faster and even minor changes pushed out when they are ready.

Hope they will announce PoE1 league and EA changes at the same time. Like in Kalguur release.

Made a very similar post myself.

They need to be doing more consistent and sweeping changes. They are tiptoeing around like this is a live release. Even saying stuff like "Don't want to ruin the economy". Bit late for that.

If the changes made are overall healthy and bring more fun into the game. It's worth the cost.

Also, there's practically no info. It's like a normal friggin' PoE 1 league and not EA.

The communication from GGG is absymal...
i can understand why they decided to go this way, because people were crying so much when they fixed clearly broken OP stuff like the triggers
So the playerbase is also at fault for this

That being said, its pretty crazy that they are going for this long without any signifcant changes
Chinese Lunar New Year day today, maybe 10c overlords are on vacation.
Think the raw fact is that just doing balance updates on league start probably gives 3/4 changes before release (so 4/5 inc release). Within that will be; new acts, new classes, new weapons, new gems. Also reasonable chance of; AH, major endgame changes, major changes to crafting. That's a lot of balancing. Potential huge changes to how the economy works etc.

Imo make the main league a test league, with a warning on character creation. Most people will play it anyway (say this as a casual who 100% would). Standard with slower updates can run concurrently.

Not fully doompilled, we'll get a clearer picture soon I imagine. I don't think they're just sitting there twiddling their thumbs. But yeah; a year isn't that long.
what if they dont think it benefits them to make more small improvements faster? what if they dont think theres any meaningful data to be collected from throwing smaller changes into a 2 month old economy with widespread fundamentally broken mechanics everywhere? why would they waste their time putting together a patch, testing it, make sure its stable etc if its meaningless?

maybe they just look at it and think ok, whats happening is fundamentally broken across the board in so many ways that until all our current thinking is implemented there is nothing to be gained for us from any small adjustment.

maybe what they actually want is for everyone to stop playing, go touch some grass, have a drink, have a nap, get in some netflix and chill, play the new D3 season for a weekend, paint your warhammers, shake off all that poe burnout and then come back in a month when we need you all back. and were gonna achieve that by dropping the hype train of all this stuff weve been saving up at once?

they dont drop a message 6 weeks into a temp league telling everyone to kindly f-off and do something else until the next league. but thats what they want because they want you back every league. they dont want you to play for 5 months non stop, burn out and then drop the game for 2 years. they just put you on ignore while they work like crazy people to get the next league finished.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

But the "small fixes" you (not "you" directly but in essence a large part of the community) are referring to are "REWORK THE ENTIRE AUCTION HOUSE SYSTEM NOW" kinda fixes. You're delusional if you think those kinds of things is done is 2-3 weeks. There has been hotfixes in between 0.1.1 and now if I recall correctly but they aren't like big announcements, so they are easily missed.

P.s. if the endgame has gotten boring because of lack of content: play something else in the meantime. 700 is an abnormal amount of time for something that has been out for less than 2 months. If you have that amount of time to play, don't expect one game, especially in EA, to have content enough for you. :-)
