Path of Exile 2 using the wrong Nvidia profile (poe2 profile = crash problems)

My drivers were using the PoE1 NVIDIA profile.
I used NVIDIA Profile Inspector to change to the "correct" profile for PoE2.
However, after changing to the "correct" profile, I started experiencing random crashes that I hadn’t encountered before. Interestingly, the PoE1 profile worked better in terms of stability, but I got slightly worse FPS. I tested this with a 3080 running DX12.
