Can I use a prepaid credit card?

How a payday loan which you have to pay back with very high interest and loading your own money onto a pre-paid card for a small fee were just used together i have no clue.

With pre-paid cards some take 24 hours after activation to become usable, i always avoid mastercards myself choosing visa when i use them. I worked for a company where we had to validate a cc while doing a credit check and almost always people who just bought a mastercard would be declined.

Some pre-paid cards don't work for all transactions such as temporary holds which is the case with government SSI/SSD mastercards.

My overall experience is Visa Green Dots work the best in all situations including almost instant availability once activated.

Make sure you activate the card online. When you got the card there should be something giving a website like "my visa gift card" (but an actual url). you can use the card in person without going to the website but for online purchases you must activate the card.

Yes you can use Prepaid debit cards for kids. That's the good thing having a prepaid card because you can easily purchase what you want.

You can register pre paids online, so they are linked to a zip code

once you do that, you should be able to use it through the poe shop

I had zero wait period. I had a pre-paid mastercard that my mother purchased for me as a christmas present, I'd had the card for a few weeks and hadn't activated it yet. I finally thought about spending it on GGG and activated it and immediately could use it on the website.

Not sure if the whole 'bought it half an hour ago' is biting you in the ass or what, but mine was good to go just as soon as I finished the activation process on the website the prepaid card directed me to.
