I'm done until GGG fixes sttutering and performance and I'm going to D4.

sure you can wait for them to optimize the same engine they had for last 15 years. who knows maybe the new AI will 'fix' that. i just bought a CPU. but you don't need to hear that, you here to vent. so i apologize for disrupting

I got it man! You need to be right. Ok, you're right. Happy?
Just one more map!
So you’re only giving them 2.5 hours to fix the problem?

That's it!
I have 2 to 3 hours/day (not every day) to play the game.
My specs is good and way above the required. I can play other more 'heavy' games with it.
I've bought and upgraded my Poe2 to not be able to play above 60fps. Not anymore.
I've tried to post this exact same text and title to reddit / pathofexile2 BUT apparently it is not possible to talk about D4 there?
So lame.

I LOVE Poe and Poe 2, but i have little to no time to spend in games (work and father responsabilities) and i'll not spend my time getting frustrated because the game is shit now.

I'll be back once the game is really playable.

What are your specs and did you do all the possible troubleshootings? Because I got good specs as well and there is no stuttering for me at all, even on highest settings.

There is a lot of posts here and in reddit issuing the same kind of problems.
But ok, apparently i'm the wrong here.
I got it.
I'll do what i can. not play until GGG fixes it.
P.s.: You know that already, and i'm not the one that need to fix it doing 'everything I can'

Every game I know of has players posting about performance issues. What you don't seem to understand is, that software optimization is only one of hundrerd different reasons, why your game may stutter:

- Old hardware
- Hardware from different brands that don't work well together
- Hardware that is defective (and this could be EVERY component from your PC)
- Bad BIOS settings
- wrong overclick settings
- Driver issues
- Old driver version
- Issues with Windows
- Issues with the games installation files
- bad/unstable internet connection (especially WLAN setups)

And this is only a small list of possible problems. And you don't even provide any information that could be used by the devs. Just complaing, with the majority has no performance issues at all.

I make it clear: I think in most cases, the user and his PC is the problem, not the game. I played PoE1 with 3 different PCs and never had issues with it. PoE2 runs smoothly since day1.
It is a fact that POE2 are currently the highest requiirement & non stable ARPG game to date. Heck, even Delta Force warfare mode on high/ultimate setting has way more stable FPS than POE2, and that game support 32vs32

both games are CPU heavy. its not the first game to be CPU heavy neither. there is nothing to 'fix' here

Sure buddy.
If performance drops from 160 fps with light content to 30 fps with heavy content is normal to you, then you live in a weird world.
can i have your stuff...

and just in case you cared, this isnt an airport and no need to announce your departure

I have Asus Scar 18 2024 — I9 14900 64GB ram 4090, and i have huge performance problem.
In town i have 60-80 fps on LOW settings, on map sometimes 200fps, but when the fight starts FPS dropped till 100, when i kill the yellow mob with killing blow effect FPS dropped till 30-40.
When i play with my friend Witch with her fire walls with sculls in battles FPS dropped til 20-30.
Ive tried EVERYTHING!
Vulcan, DX12, DX11, all settings, changed power supply mod to performance mod in Windows, downgraded 24H2 to 23H2. Change sound settings to LOW etc.
But nothing happened. Seems when the are a lot of effects on screen my system cant work with it. However i setup LOW settings and 2K and i dont have any troubles in other games.
As i know, im not the only 1 who have such problem with good hardware.

This latter ive sent to GGG support 3 days ago. Trust me, im really tried EVERYTING from this forum, steam, redit etc.
Even with the stutering and performance it is still more fun than diablo 4. Also this is an early access sir.

Watch out bro! You'll hurt fanboys feelings like I did, seemly. We can't feedback in something we PAID for, and if we do, need to be in fanboys terms. hehe

Anyway, "get a better pc" lol. (you got it is sarcasm right?) ((need to leave it here so anyone that reads it maybe will get it too).

I think this is something related to personal preferences, right? So both can be fun.
Don't get me wrong, I love POE 1 & 2, but the way it is, maybe if we wait another 10 years things will get better.
Of course, the right thing to do is just put your head down and wait. You're probably right, after all, it is early access!
