Banners not working (POE2)

Hello It came to my attention today that banners are not functioning at all I tried every banner skill made sure it was active in my skill menu tried both melee and ranged on multiple characters. but it seems like the banner is simply not activating any more it doesn't even appear on my back like it was before patch. couldn't find any news of you disabling it so just wanted to report in.
