Spirit from equipped Septer not being applied to character.

I have a septer equipped that grants 163 spirt. I am not receiving this spirit after I equipped a cast of freeze meta gem. The game shows my spirit at 241 when on toggle the gems on and off but not above my mana globe. Registers I have 79 spirt. 19 of which comes from my ascendency.

I have logged out and back in. I have unequipped and reequipped all my gear and meta gems. This still has not resolved the issue. I have also unallocated my passive node from my ascendancy as well. With no effect.
