Hand Of Chayula Bugged?

So when I dash with hand of chayula
It doesn’t apply curse or mark, but if I’m stationary it works. It has hits can’t be evaded so it should always work. Seems like anytime i switch ring or amulet is when I get this problem. So is this bugged in some way? Or am I just completely missing something? Appreciate any input on this

Seems to work for me, but enemies with very large hit boxes sometimes don't get affected unless a specific part of their model makes contact. Just my two cents.

I will literally just switch my ring mid play and it works, and the rings
Are practically identical. And guild
Member is having the same issue. So it has nothing to do with the monsters

When it’s working the way it should, it works 100% of the time on any monster.
