Not sure how but can use blink without weapon swap and it's killing me

I know that the game is trying to be easier to newer players but after the update, I now have my blink (which was reserved for weapon swap) so when blink is down, i can't dodge roll. Also, I can press space bar exactly once and for some reason, 99.9999% of the time, it will use it twice in a row b/c of second wind.

Please fix all of the stuff I described. If I'm not weapon swapped then why can I blink? I have died multiple times b/c I blink into a bunch of mobs with one space bar press but use 2 charges and can't dodge roll. Please fix this. Please fix this. Not sure how this gets past any QA but please fix this. Dying b/c I am using a skill I don't have equipped in my active weapons is really not fun.

IIRC theres an option to use abilities on your second weapon set that "hotswaps" them automatically to use that ability so you dont have to manually swap to 2nd set. I forget the exact details, but that might be whats going on. I'd start there.

Thanks but I can't seem to find what you are referring too. But I'm being sincere by saying thanks simply because I didn't even think there might be that sort of option. I'm sure it will show up on random google search for me. However, I'm doing Chrono so I changed my ascendency from 20% slow to 33% don't use cdr charge so it seems to have helped just enough for now. GLHF.
