Checkpoints in Maps still bad :( what about this idea?

thanks for everything!
Regarding the checkpoints in maps, I am glad that you have thought about this, but the system is not really good yet. The checkpoints are never where you need them, or they are in a place where you haven't been yet...they don't help me much and you still have to walk a lot which is very annoying.
How about this idea:

- a fixed checkpoint at the start of the map
- 3-5 checkpoints which we can set ourselves! (Button to set could be added under TP button as an example)

So we could, for example, decide to set a checkpoint here at junctions/forks etc. because I know that's where I want to go.
