Map generation/pathing needs work

Appreciate the work on the update but im getting frustrated with the map generation. I can see a citadel in the fog which is cool. Decide im going to try to reach it. There is a bay between me and it that is at least 25 maps wide. When i get to the end of the bay, I still cant progress towards the citadel because the pathing doesn't connect in that direction for what feels like an arbitrary reason as its grass and there are two map points side by side, they just dont connect. Then it dead ends. So now im forced to back track and hope there is a way around or try the other end of the lake which may end up being worse. Not sure how many maps ill end up having to run to reach it but at least 40ish is a safe guess.

There should be a limiter on how wide a road block can be in a certain direction and side by side maps should connect unless there is a terrain feature causing them not to. This is excessive and its making hunting down the citadel feel like a slog and is quickly eroding the excitement i got at seeing it in the mist.
