Price checker

Started this topic a while back.. under another thread. No one cared at least some of the cosole players realising not having a price checker... after farming hours.. you will spend the equal amount of time with price checking with your phone in hand..

GGG does not give a damn to fixing this I can tell you that.. but fingers crossed that I will not be right.. but interestingly they can take our money with ease..

#1 cross play - It is a cross play game in which they champion the economy. So makes sense to have equal qol to other platforms.

#2 - Larian Studios on Baldurs Gate has a mod Storefront on the game, it works wonderfully on playstation, so there's a precedent that mods can be used.

#3 - Sony - I would assume that Sony has some sort of policy for cross play games on their storefront. I doubt Sony sees with good eyes their premium users being farmed because of mods... If enough people complain to Sony, I would eventually see them say nothing but ask Tencent so check what is going on. Sony is protective of their players. The question is how to take this to Sony... I would assume the best way is to make a proper letter, frame this as duality in treatment and take it directly to Investor Relations, which is a public address, and they pay attention to it, it's not only for shareholders, but also to stakeholders, being the last, the paying customer.

#4 - Temcent: playstation network is a strategic market for temcent, so I would assume GGG has all the interest in improving their product for PSN.

#5 GGG, they already provide an API to someone, so if the API exists, there shouldn't be very add to add the functionality in game, they already made similar with the asynchronous trade. It's a matter of goodwill one would assume.

#6 wrong place: the vast majority of people hangs out on Feedback, very small traffic here to bring weight to the claim.




In my perspective, GGG has two ways of doing this, copy Larian Studios and make a storefront available on the game for official mods that works also on playstation, or implement the functionality on the game. I would prefer the second.

It would be very desirable to have it ready by 1.0 release

GGG, I’d like to suggest a simple solution: add an option to copy an item’s attributes directly into the in-game market browser. This would make pricing items much easier.

ok, then whine at the mod creators to make them for console too or tell GGG to not allow these mods on PC, but GGG is the wrong address in this case anyway...

This is a mod directly from Larian Studios.. of course it has then also to work on all platforms, but GGG don´t write these mods themself.. so why should they support it and integrate 3rd party software into their code to support it on console?

As you said in #2 it works also on console for Baldurs Gate directly in the game from Larian Studios... So Sony couldn´t be the problem, IF the mods are supplied from GGG.. but Sony won´t allow mods from 3rd parties in the games from a publisher..

GGG don´t tell moders not to do stuff for console... the modders just don´t do it, since they own a PC.. talk to the mod guys or find a mod guy with a console and get them to support their own stuff on console too... again not GGG´s fault or duty..

We are here to tell them, we are loosing game time by price checking, the console economy is clearly in desavantage from PC. We cannot farm Currency as we should do by not having a price checker

We all want the same thing, makes the game better and enjoying more our game Time as the same as GGG wants for us.

So its not on our role to talk to mod maker or dev or whatever, we just point a big failure in their game who can be fixed in many ways. The time will probably solve the problem.

Anyways, stop baching people who wants to propose solution to make the games better.

I think they recognized or read it already..

But then you should also practice patience, because the whole thread is full of whining...
