Breach Nerfed to the floor

Lots of people, lots of voices, lots of opinions, can't make everyone happy.

The fact is you only are going to hear from either side when something happens that isn't in their favor.


Right now, the people who liked breach as it was are expressing their opinion while people who didn't like it will continue to happily be in bliss.

Endless circle.

I wish instead of just nerfing the breach by cutting the number of monsters, they'd fully adjusted it to PoE 2, e. g. by making it also last longer but have it spawn increasingly dangerous mobs to make up for the mob count.

I'd be on board with that, but given the large volume of players who were complaining about how breach was a certain death for them in the past - I can't really help but feel like this was the right move for the majority of the players.

Well, I can't speak for the others, but I mainly had problems with the very high mob count when the breach starts. It's just too much for my first build that doesn't have a very high and fast damage output and has to take it slow.
Having smaller mobs and more time would solve that and if the mobs get too dangerous, one can always return to the center so the breach closes.
Maybe a "finish breach" button like with Delirium would be a good idea for this case.

Maybe its not the same people doing the complaining. I wanted more density before the nerf as Breach is the only fun Im getting from endgame atm. So my standard play time probably has come close to the end, until GGG rerolls the league or starts a league!!

I'm largely with you, but my lightning warp build is not clear speed limited by mob density, aoe kill a screen full of mobs no matter how dense or sparse it is.


Many other builds, just do not have that ability to scale infinitely with density. Minion builds pre patch were a prime example of failure to handle breach density.

Way to nerf the only fun endgame mechanic into the ground.

I'll go play something else while I wait for them to release content that doesn't make me destroy my controller out of frustration.
