BUG - Account still not able to access Trial of Sekhemas

I was excited to see in the patch notes the following:

Fixed a bug where quest items would not drop again from their respective objective if the player dropped them on the ground in an area where the difficulty was different to where it was obtained. Characters in a broken state should now be able to re-obtain the quest objective.

Unfortunately my character is still in a broken state. I tried killing Balbala again in both Act 2 Norm and Cruel. Still nothing, and Zarka still doesn't prompt the character to check out the desert map.
