Supercharged Slam is completely useless
Almost every single aspect of this skill is terrible. The animation feels awful. There is no weight to the swing at all and it feels like you just tap the ground with a cotton swab and then some explosions trigger. On top of that it is actually useless practically. It does zero damage, the channel speed is not affected by attack speed which makes it completely useless, and on top of that it doesn't even cast immediately on reaching maximum stacks making it clunky and unfun to use. It also doesn't work with seismic cry because you'll just add one aftershock which is useless, and it also doesn't work for stun builds because it is too slow to charge to deal damage vs stunned enemies. Lastly I haven't tested this (because it's too expensive to do) but if the extra stages with quality makes it even slower to fully channel then quality is literally a nerf to the skill.
I hope this skill can get some improvements across the board in the future. Last bumped on May 5, 2025, 3:27:54 AM

This is one of the most useless endgame unlocks for warrior. It used to be AWESOME.
What blows my mind is almost no skill is useless USUALLY in this game but the warrior really does have issues with certain skills just not thriving, too many gem penalties so fissure and earthshatter cant thrive. It can be built up but its pathetic in damage as to other skills u could be using and requires too much work. so far only Mercanarys ice shards are equal in uselessness along with monks twirling staff move. I tried finding out info for this skill anything to make it ok. Ive done test with it qualitied out with 3 40%+ skills. Still pales to Sunder and easy to cast HAMMER OF THE G. Its rediculous. Supercharged slam needs a rework. |

To be fair, I haven't tried sunder, but everything else I've read on this thread confuses me.
The move is broken, it half shots bosses pretty easily. It works with stun builds really well, even with the extra stages. Any slow moving enemy will lumber into its, massive aoe. I agree that the animation is, bleh. It would be way cooler if he was doing some dbz charging and something per stage up. There isn't clarity around when the skill is fully charged, the gain of earth is dumb. If it was a LOT of earth, that would be cool, maybe turns spiky fully charged or something. Turns diamond or something as it charges. I pretty much only use it on bosses and big health rares, otherwise I do easily enough damage with my normal skills. Are you infernal shouting, or whatever the skill is, first to buff it? Its the hardest hitting skill I've used on warrior. If there are harder hitting, they are busted- especially if shorter cast time. I couldn't ever get perfect strike to hit, I tried that first. I think Hammer of the Gods is suuuuper clunky. It does do damage, but its so slow and clunky that I always forget about it. Charging it up for bosses is a pain, I don't seem to need it for normal mobs. |
