It is straight up a disrespect of the player's time and effort put in. You can lose hours or even days of time invested.

This game is all about punishment even when you choose a wrong passive you have to pay for it
its the sm game under the RPG apperently GGG loves it and are making this game in a basement ... with alot of leather and spikes i dont see the reason why they dont make diffrent servers one for the die hards and one for the casuals it feels the people that work for ggg had a very bad youth and want to punish the world |

Ggg clearly stated XP loss stays.
And I am 100% for it. No point of arguing at this one. It stays. |

" I would agree with this IF: 1) We had a combat log 2) Visual clarity was good and not a mess as it is right now Hard to know what to do with your build when you died to some unseen enemy / attack / whatever. |

Personally they could just make a form of standard without it but they won't bc the moment they do everyone will play that version of standard over the leagues. It's sad everyone thinks its good for the game. Here's a little fact for you guys even games like fortnite and call of duty have non competitive modes bc even they realize not everyone wants to be competitive.

this has been talked over a lot and a lot.
ultimately it is an ego thing, nothing else. those who suffered through it want the others to as well and accepting that no one would engage with it is akin to a defeat of their ego. the penalty adds nothing interesting to the game and certainly does not incentivize good play either, all it does is hurt retention. If I die in the 90s I simply alt f4 and quit for the remainder of the league, not enough free time to deal with all that stuff. "Get an omen" will the defender say, introducing a problem to sell you a solution is basically the behavior of predatory gambling companies so no. |
